Training Manager

$1,000.00 Sign-on Bonus! Must apply on or after 2/2/2022, and must be hired on or before 7/11/2022. $500 paid upon completion of 90 days of employment, $250 paid upon completion of 6 months of employment, and $250 paid upon completion of 9 months of employment.

Full-time, salaried, exempt position, 40 hours/week, with occasional evening hours; $840/week to start; an additional $0.75/hour increase upon successful completion of a 90-day introductory period

Overall responsibility for the training and development programs for staff members

Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops

Analyzing training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs, including coordinating outside trainers to present relevant training topics

Ensure compliance with the Dept. of Human Services regulations related to staff health and training

Provide management with information or training related to interviewing, performance, appraisals, counseling techniques or documentation of performance issues

Obtain certifications in CPR & First Aid, The MANDT System, and other trainings as necessary.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in a human service or education field

OR
-
Associates Degree in a human service or education field and two years experience working with individuals with disabilities, or teaching, or training
OR
-
A high school diploma with a minimum of four years previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, or teaching, or training

Computer skills required; knowledge of the Relias Learning Management System is a plus

Must possess a valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of good driving experience with your license, and must meet our driver eligibility criteria
