Training Manager

  • $1,000.00 Sign-on Bonus; payable upon successful completion of the 90-day introductory period; must have applied on or after 2/2/22, and must be hired on or before 7/11/22

  • Full-time, salaried, exempt position, 40 hours/week, with occasional evening hours; $840/week to start; an additional $0.75/hour increase upon successful completion of a 90-day introductory period

  • Overall responsibility for the training and development programs for staff members

  • Plan, develop, and provide training and staff development programs using knowledge of the effectiveness of methods such as classroom training, demonstrations, on-the-job training, meetings, conferences, and workshops

  • Analyzing training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs, including coordinating outside trainers to present relevant training topics

  • Ensure compliance with the Dept. of Human Services regulations related to staff health and training

  • Provide management with information or training related to interviewing, performance, appraisals, counseling techniques or documentation of performance issues

  • Obtain certifications in CPR & First Aid, The MANDT System, and other trainings as necessary.

  • Supervise the Assistant Training Manager

  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in a human service or education field

OR

  • Associates Degree in a human service or education field and two years experience working with individuals with disabilities, or teaching, or training

OR

  • A high school diploma with a minimum of four years previous experience working with individuals with disabilities, or teaching, or training

  • Computer skills required; knowledge of the Relias Learning Management System is a plus

  • Must possess a valid driver’s license and at least 3 years of good driving experience with your license, and must meet our driver eligibility criteria
